Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Book #5)


 When Dementors come to Little Whinging and attack him and his cousin, Dudley Dursley, Harry knows that Lord Voldermort will try to kill Harry no matter what happens. 

Another year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry begins. The Dark Lord is gathering his old army but Harry Potter is not alone this time. An order gathers at Number twelve, Grimmauld Place to fight the Dark forces called the “Order of the Phoenix”. 

Voldermort is trying to get into Harry’s mind. He is also trying to control Harry Potter. Harry must learn Occlumency so that he can close his mind so that Voldermort cannot read his thoughts. The Ministry of Magic thinks that Harry has built up a “cock and bull” story that Voldermort has risen again to make Dumbledore, the Minister of Magic. There is a vision which Harry can see Lord Voldermort, a vision of a corridor in the Department of Mysteries which haunts Harry every night. The Dark Lord is trying to get the prophecy about Harry Potter and Voldermort. 

The Prophecy is :

THE ONE WITH THE POWER TO VANQUISH THE DARK LORD APPROACHES…BORN TO THOSE WHO HAVE THRICE DEFIED HIM, BORN AS THE SEVENTH MONTH DIES... AND THE DARK LORD WILL MARK HIM AS HIS EQUAL, BUT HE WILL HAVE THE POWER THE DARK LORD KNOWS NOT... AND EITHER MUST DIE AT THE HAND OF THE OTHER FOR NEITHER CAN LIVE WHILE THE OTHER SURVIVES...THE ONE WITH THE POWER TO VANQUISH THE DARK LORD WILL BE BORN AS THE SEVENTH MONTH DIES...

Harry’s Godfather, Sirius Black, dies.😭

Another year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry begins. Harry is the Quidditch captain for Gryffindor.  When Harry, Ron, and Hermione go to Madam Malkin’s Road shop in Diagon Alley, they meet Draco Malfoy and his mother (Narcissa Malfoy). Draco was not letting  Madam Malkin touch his left arm.
